Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shakar, one of the American and British sitar artist. She was the first person in her age group to be a member of the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Sitar Shankar is one of the Indian young sitar star. She is Ravi Shankar's pupil, and the daughter of Ravi Shankar. Her childhood was spent bouncing between London and New Delhi. As a teenager the first time she performed was in New Delhi took place. Then she relocated in Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. Anouskha's career as a musician and performer is impressive, despite her young age. She has been performing with her father on stage for several years. She released her first single album Anourag in the year 1998. Her Grammy-nominated Live At Carnegie Hall album was released in 2002. In addition to performing in all of the largest venues and venues, she also has a long stage career. Anoushka isn't just a performer. Anoushka is still progressing in her professional career, and there will be many new things that will be coming from this amazing woman. Anoushka was born in England however, she spent the majority of her childhood split between London in the UK and Delhi. Then she moved to California and went to the high school there. At the age of nine, she began her studies in music under her father, who made her first on the sitar four years later during the celebration of his 75th birthday in Delhi. Accompanying her father as he toured the world Anoushka racked up a wealth of performances in Carnegie Hall while still in her teens. She performed at Peter Gabriel's WOMAD festival, and also making recordings alongside George Harrison. In the end, The House of Commons Shield was presented in her honor by the British Parliament for being the top Asian Arts musician. She is the only female and the youngest winner of this award.
