Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in a Drama Series. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting during her time at Preparatory School. At the end of the 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. She attended theatre classes in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a period at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her professional career with Chicago-area theaters for a couple of years. She then moved on to film and television. Anna had her first big role as Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. In addition, she played in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Then it was only in the latter part of 1990 that she took on the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons in Deadwood that was shot in the mid 2000's. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully and Deadwood was also an integral part of her acting career. Gunn was on stage to star in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio show that premiered set in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and final break-up echoes the end of Walter White's personal life.
